The Ultimate PID Checker is an application that allows you to calculate Windows 8 / Server 2012, Windows 7 / Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista / Server 2008, Windows XP / Server 2003 and MS Office 2010 Product IDs from given keys. It can read the keys from text file and allows you to extend its functionality by loading custom pkeyconfig (from future Windows versions for example).

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: Windows XP/Vista/Server 2008/7/Server 2008 R2/8
  • RAM: at least 25MB available :)

  • HDD: about 10MB free

        Any updates for Win 10 or Office 2016?
        All the Online PID checkers are now offline or taken down.
        This is nice when someone gives you a key to install an OS or Office
        and don’t know what version the key is for.

    I have identified several issues with the latest release (1.1.3.560) of your Ultimate PID Checker.

    Using the 6.2 profile, there are Description Issues:
    EmbeddedAutomotive = J2ND2-BCW98-8669Y-HPBF3-RDY99; just lists the product key again under ‘Description’ / has no ‘Edition ID’
    EmbeddedIndustry = 3HDCN-87G3V-FPCDF-C6HTB-79Q3X; just lists the product key again under ‘Description’ / has no ‘Edition ID’
    EmbeddedIndustryAE = VQ7FC-RTNC8-RHDFR-8THVR-J633X; just lists the product key again under ‘Description’ / has no ‘Edition ID’
    ThinPC = G3KNM-CHG6T-R36X3-9QDG6-8M8K9; just lists the product key again under ‘Description’ / has no ‘Edition ID’

    Also under 6.2, there are Edition-Type AND Description issues:
    EmbeddedA = VV6W8-NF7BJ-FKHGQ-P424D-FHC7K; edition-type and desc both just list the product key instead of pre-release status
    EmbeddedE = VKKC6-NQQQH-JW3QX-XRVKX-KJJK9; edition-type and desc both just list the product key instead of pre-release status
    EmbeddedIndustryE = HNGCC-Y38KG-QVK8D-WMWRK-X86VK; edition-type and desc both just list the product key instead of pre-release status

    Your program doesn’t properly identify ‘Windows 8 / Server 2012’ keys from a file if you use the ‘Identify Keys’ tab; this tab ignores the ‘Windows 8 / Server 2012’ checkbox, and if you only select this box, it will say ‘Please select at least one profile to Check!’

      The default keys you have posted contain themselves in the description – it’s not my program’s bug – Microsoft just put these keys in the Descriptions for debugging.

      The problem with IdentifyKeys has been now fixed.

    Janek, sorry to say but there are still issues with the (Windows 8 / Server 2012) Identify Keys tab in 1.1.3.570.

    Easy to reproduce my findings:
    1) Create a file with any valid 6.2 key, say ‘G3KNM-CHG6T-R36X3-9QDG6-8M8K9’ in it.
    2) Scan with only the 6.2 profile enabled, it will say the key is a valid ThinPC license
    3) Scan again this time with both 6.2 and 6.1 enabled, it will say Profile 6.1, Validity: ERROR.
    It doesn’t check against 6.2 with 6.1 enabled.

    Other issues:
    XP 64bit VLK and SLP keys do not work with your program, example: VCFQD-V9FX9-46WVH-K3CD4-4J3JM
    2003 Standard/Enterprise/DataCenter 64bit VLK and SLP keys do not work with your program, example: PY3VT-J8G8T-HTP6B-VX8KH-MFXVM or XCP6P-7WVXP-F8FQ4-JV6CD-6XV28

    I use this to help find missing digits from windows stickers when i do a reload. Anyway to have the program stop checking a file after it finds a valid key? Would really speed up my searches!

    i would like to know is there a way of telling that on a key there is x amount of internet activations left and x amount of activations left by phone this would realy help me out alot

    Janek, you are my god today! Awesome app! Thank you.
    If you have spare time, could you please describe, how to recognize MSDN and pure retail licence?
    Or some detailed guide like: this is typical MAK key, this is typical KMS key, this is MSDNAA key, this is retail, this is MSDN… I don’t have any key of electronic licence yet to compare as well.

    Thank you for this tool!

    I was trying to use a license key from a sticker on the bottom of a laptop, which was rubbed off to the point of illegibility. I put the machine on a scanner, and scanned it at high resolution, and viewed it greatly magnified on my screen, and was able to read all but three digits. One of the three unreadable digits was either a 3 or an 8. The other was a K, R or B. The third could have been almost anything.

    So I created a text file with all the possible keys, and and let Ultimate PID Checker analyze them. About an hour later it reported that one key was valid, and the rest were not.

    What a great tool!!!

    Hi, v1.1.3.590 work for all keys but:
    Something with Windows 8 / Server 2012 key checker is wrong for Windows 8.1 Pro keys.
    Always says
    Profile : NT 6.2
    Validity: ERROR

    For Windows 8.1 Core keys pidgen works ok.

    I’m sorry to say that in my case the program determined that my key is valid, when in reality it has been blocked by Microsoft. I was unable to activate my Windows 7 with that key. Here it is :
